WATCH THE VIDEO click the play button

 Started with chipboard strips, covered with card stock.

 Next came hand made flowers and homemade antiqued paper. Even some quilling!

 Lace, butterfly and a window box for the center (my favorite part!)

 A few more hand made flowers, and up close look at the window.

 Additional embellies, keys and pearls spray.

 A look at the whole thing. Can you spot the additions? ;)

 Almost done. Added a heart and some stamping...

 Everything is very dimensional, as this photo below shows.

 Another look as I added finishing touches.

 The final product. Minus the Valentine titles.

What the heck is Quilling?

Trying my hand at quilling. It's harder than it looks. This is my first attempt. 

Creative Canvas :)

I've been watching videos and experimenting with my Gesso, acrylic paints, Mod Podge, and embellishments to make a couple Multi-media Canvases. 

I love this type of "play" in art, it's so relaxing and enjoyable :)

Over at MSR (myscraproom.ning.com)  we have challenges weekly.

 (This one spanned 2 since it was so involved)

There is always a list of requirements

however...

you are not entered based on talent or skill.
